The Silver Edge Engine is a fully automated quantitative system — not a signal service. A structured decision chain: setup → management → exit. No discretion at any step.
Core principles
- Repeatability: all decisions follow explicit, coded rules.
- Integrated risk management: position sizing and stops are built into the system, not added as an afterthought.
- Execution realism: fees and slippage are non-negotiable inputs.
- Expectation management: no guarantees, no "always wins".
Entry Logic
Proprietary breakout signal combined with a trend-strength filter. Only trades when trend is confirmed and market conditions are favorable.
Risk Management
Fixed capital base, volatility-adjusted position sizing, hard stop-loss per trade (% of capital). No compounding by default — stable, predictable sizing.
Exit Logic
Take-profit at a volatility-based target. Dynamic trailing stop scaled to trend strength protects open profits.
Execution stack
- TradingView Pine Script v5 — signal generation, backtesting, alert dispatch
- Webhook execution — WunderTrading, 3Commas, Cornix, or any webhook-compatible platform
- Exchange — Bitget, Bybit, OKX, Binance, or any exchange with USDT perpetual futures
The system is designed for USDT perpetual futures and works with any exchange that supports webhook-based order execution. Spot trading is not the intended use case.
